Indian Astrology & Mythology

A collection of print series exploring Indian Mythology and Astrology, two integral elements deeply rooted in Hindu culture that often appear to influence daily life. For example, one might observe an Indian family avoiding crossing paths with a 'black cat,' believed to be an omen of bad luck, despite the lack of scientific or logical basis for such beliefs.

This series is a satirical take on how this has been a part of my childhood and persist into my adult life, despite my awareness of their irrationality.

Life Cards

This collection of cards has been crafted to mimic the appearance of tarot cards. Each character has been portrayed in a way that contradicts their traditional significance in Indian astrology, reimagining the meanings of age-old symbols that hold no real significance. For instance, the 'black cat,' typically associated with unluckiness, is now referred to as the 'lucky strike’.
